After trawling throught the metaverse, you have discovered our little cyperpunk movie review site. May you find here what you have been seeking, whether that be steel and concrete landscapes of the future, the weaving flow of information through the network, the sexiness of our futuristic heroines or the gritty violence in cold visions of tomorrow. We made this site to help you discover new movies in the cyberpunk genre for your viewing pleasure.
So who is “we”? As the name would imply, we are two brothers who share a passion for the works of arts of this genre. For several years now, we have been enjoying watching cyberpunk movies. Both of us have individually spent time living in Asian megacities and we (like to believe) we grog the themes raised by many cyberpunk movies. And best of all, we will share it with you. Now doesn’t that make you glad?
The Cyberpunk Brothers presence on the interwebs consists of three major elements:
- Movie Reviews and Ratings We review movie, providing you both with some background on what to expect plotwise, a selection of pictures that characterize the movie’s astetics, and ratings of various criteria. The idea is to enable you to quickly look through a couple of movies to find one that you find attractive, without spoiling you the surprises.
- The Movie Finder This is a webapplication that should help you discover movies based on criteria that interest you. It’s basically a way to automatically look through our manually made ratings data to discover movies based on themes, quality etc.
- Articles on related Topics Finally, we occasionally have opinions on certain topics related to cyberpunk movies and the cyberpunk genre in general. Be aware that there are malfunctioning cyborgs rampaging through this area of the website occasionally, and we do not recommend you to venture down into there without a ready blaster.
